Productivity advice that had an impact on me

  1. The night before, set out a goal for the next day. If you accomplish nothing else but this one goal. Call it a win.

  2. Break down the tasks you need to complete into small tasks. It makes it easier to start and you get to tick off items more frequently, which gives your brain a reward.

  3. If your spending twice as long on a task, but the quality of your work isn't getting better. Try taking a break and coming back fresh.

  4. Use a daily habit tracker. These are great for motivating you to tick a daily habit off your list, such as exercising, studying or clearing out your inbox. We have habit trackers in our planners!

  5. Before you begin your morning, visualise your perfect day. Work towards that.

  6. Allow yourself guilt free time to spend doing something you find fun. Mental breaks are good for brain function and better for focusing on tasks.

  7. If you ever feel lost, remind yourself what's motivating you to do what your doing. Devote time towards the reason you are here in the first place.

  8. Have a to do list that just keeps getting longer? Do everything on your list that takes less than 15 minutes right now.

  9. Challenge yourself to not multitask. Instead focus on one task at a time and then move on to the next one.

  10. Had a really productive day that you felt really good about? Find out why or what situation/environment lead to this and try replicate it.
