Who are we?

In my career as an event planner, I realised the importance of having a plan and being organised. We all know that life can be stressful, so I wanted to implement what I had learnt from event planning into everyday life.

I never found a life planner that worked for me, so instead of waiting around for the perfect system to find me, I decided to create it myself. After many months I had created Live with Passion – The Planner and am now sharing it with the rest of the world.

All of our planners are undated to allow you the freedom to start when you need to and in your own time. Its made so that you can live by your own schedule, and not by somebody else’s.

We are proud to say that our planners are New Zealand Made and Printed, keeping costs within New Zealand and helping to support the local economy.

Original Planner vs 12 Month Planner

When trying to decided which planner would work best for you or someone else, consider their lifestyle and how they plan and organise their life.

Our two planners have two different planning styles. Our Original Planner focuses on daily planning and our 12 Month Planner focus on weekly and monthly planning.

While there are a few overlaps between the two planners, our Original Planners' main focuses are increasing productivity, goal setting, project planning and habit tracking.

While our 12 Month planners' main focuses are goal setting and day to day living with space for meal planning, water intake and habit tracking. As you can see both planners have a heavy focus on goal setting.

The 12 Month planner would work best for someone who:

  • Likes to plan their life week by week

  • Likes to plan their life month by month

  • Is a goal setter

  • Sets New Year’s Resolutions

  • Has habits they want to start or stop

  • Meal plans

  • Likes to-do lists

The Original Planner would work best for someone who:

  • Likes to plan their life day by day

  • Likes to plan out each hour

  • Is a goal setter

  • Has different projects on the go

  • Has habits they want to start or stop

  • Wants to become more productive

  • Likes to-do lists

Planner vs Notepad

When trying to decided whether a planner or notepad would work best for you or someone else, consider how much time they want or need to spend planning.

The planners take a deep dive into different aspects of your life, aiding in organising those different areas. The notepad just looks at the day to day running of your life.

A Notepad would work best for someone who:

  • Only wants to focus on the day to day

  • Wants a simple approach to life planning

  • Likes the ‘at a glance’ view

A Planner would work best for someone who:

  • Wants to organise different areas of their life

  • Wants to go deeper into planning

  • Has medium to long term and/or complex goals they want to achieve

Physical Planner vs Digital Planner

Both our Original Planner and 12 Month Planner comes in a digital version as well as a physical planner. When trying to decide whether a physical or digital planner would work best for you or someone else, consider how they like to plan.

A digital planner would work best for someone who:

  • Makes a lot of changes and/or needs to erase things easily

  • Has a product (such as a tablet or Ipad) that they can use a digital planner on

  • Is always on the go

A physical planner would work best for someone who:

  • Prefers writing with a physical pen and paper

  • Enjoys owning or holding a physical product

  • Finds motivation in physically writing things down and ticking items off

And that’s our gift guide! There are different options to help you cater for the person you’re buying for, or to choose what work bests for you!
